Dr. Tsai

Dr. TsaiDr. Tsai got his Electrical Engineering BS Degree in 1988 from Chung Cheng Institute of Technology and started his government service career for Taiwan Government till 2006. In 1992, he got government scholarship and studied at University of Southern California and graduated in 1994 with MSEE Degree and then kept working for Taiwan government. In Sep of 1999, he got government scholarship again and studied at National Central University (NCU) of Taiwan with full-time job working for government. In April of 2006, he graduated from NCU with Ph.D. Degree in Electrical Engineering. In 2007, he started to serve for Chinese Culture University in Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering as full-time Associate Professor till 2018.

Dr. Tsai moved back to Maryland USA in 2018 to stay with his family and started his teaching career in the US till now. From 2018 to 2024, Dr. Tsai has served for University of North America as a full-time professor and Director of College of Technology till 2022 and Adjunct Instructor for Columbia College. After that, he served for Baltimore County government as a full-time staff and Montgomery County government TEBS as an IT volunteer from 2022 to 2023. In 2004, Dr. Tsai served for Virginia University of Science and Technology (VUST) as a full-time professor and assistant Education director. In July 2024, he transferred to serve as Adjunct Professor for VUST and started to serve for University of The Potomac and Columbia College as Adjunct Professor as well till now.

Dr. Tsai likes to do research. His research is focused on cybersecurity, networking and multimedia processing. Dr. Tsai has published more than 20 journals and 60 conference papers in Cybersecurity, Networking and IT related areas. He likes to make contribution for teaching and do public services.
