Background:

Dr. Milad Ebrahimi is a Business Manager at the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission. He has doctorate degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Louisville. Dr. Ebrahimi has extensive background working with government entities and public utilities, as well as academia. His work has focused on Strategizing, implementing, and overseeing processes for increased productivity and growth, Developing innovative solutions and improvements, and Executing revenue services and products within organization. Prior to his work at the WSSC, he has served as Principal Researcher at University of Louisville and Metropolitan District of Louisville. His research work has focused on identifying methods to extend the life and improve the performance of urban infrastructure. Much of his worked has included water and wastewater initiatives and incorporating green concepts into existing systems. Dr. Ebrahimi has been recognized as the 2019 and 2020 Distinguished Engineer by the American Society of Civil Engineers.
