Dr. J.P. Mohsen, PhD
Dr. J. P. Mohsen is Professor and Associate Dean of Administration and Faculty Affairs at J. B. Speed School of Engineering, University of Louisville. Prior to that, he served as Chair of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department for 14 years.
Dr. J.P. Mohsen is Past President of the American Society for Engineering Education. He served as ASEE President during 2009-10. He is a Fellow of ASEE. He is currently the director of the ASCE series of webinars for the PE review courses in Civil, Environmental and Structural engineering. He is a Fellow of ASCE.
Dr. Mohsen was named Engineer of the Year in Education by the Kentucky Section of ASCE in1999 and received the University of Louisville Distinguished Service to the Profession Award in 1999 and the Distinguished Teaching Professor Award in 2003. In 2014, he received the ASCE Computing in Civil Engineering Award.
